About NIADO

Who we are

NIADO Study Abroad helps African students understand and navigate higher education in Egypt — started by someone who went through it herself.

NIADO Study Abroad exists because the information African students receive about studying in Egypt is frequently wrong, and occasionally deliberately so. Fees quoted from three years ago. Programmes described as English-taught when they are not. Scholarships that do not exist. Guarantees nobody is in a position to make.

Our founder, Fatima Muhammad Jidda, began studying in Egypt in 2020 and started helping other students with admission guidance soon afterwards — informally at first, then, as the number of students asking grew, as an organised company.

What we built is deliberately narrow. We are not trying to send students everywhere in the world. We work on Egypt, for African students, and we try to be genuinely accurate about it.

How we work

Six things we hold to

These are the commitments the whole site is built around — including how the content itself is structured.

We publish sources, or we publish nothing

Every university fact on this site carries its source and the date it was verified. Where we have not confirmed something — a fee, a deadline, a scholarship — we say so plainly instead of filling the gap with a plausible number.

We do not guarantee what is not ours to give

Admission decisions belong to universities. Residence decisions belong to governments. Scholarships are awarded against published criteria. Anyone guaranteeing those outcomes is either mistaken or dishonest.

We tell you what we do not do

Every service page on this site has a 'not included' section. It is the part most agencies leave out, and the part that prevents the misunderstandings that destroy trust.

We encourage you to check us

Contact the university directly. Verify what we tell you. A legitimate adviser welcomes that; we would rather you trusted the process than trusted us on faith.

We will tell you when Egypt is wrong for you

Sometimes a student's plans do not fit what Egypt offers, or their home regulator's rules make a route impractical. Saying so costs us a client and saves them several years.

We stay reachable afterwards

An agency that disappears once the fee is paid has not done the job. Students we place still have a contact in their second and third years.
